Mrs. Crystal Meck, Preschool Director of Admissions and Development, obtained her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Northampton Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. Mrs. Meck has previously served on the parent committee and as a substitute teacher.
Dr. Erica Greer, Assistant Preschool Director of Teaching and Learning, completed her Undergraduate Degree at Pennsylvania State University studying Elementary and Kindergarten Education, her master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Wilkes University and her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership at Delaware Valley University. She has spent the past 15 years working in public education serving the Pleasant Valley School District as a first-grade teacher, Middle School Girls Basketball Coach, Pre-K Transition Coordinator, Assistant Principal and Principal. In addition, Dr. Greer serves as adjunct faculty teaching various courses for Delaware Valley University.
Mrs. Kerri Ranck, PreK 4 Teacher, is a graduate of Penn State University where she received her Bachelors of science in Elementary Education. After graduation, she taught kindergarten in the Harrisburg School district for 7 years. After teaching in Harrisburg, she stayed home with her 3 children. Mrs. Ranck currently teaches English as a second language remotely to students.
Mrs. Cathy Dickman, PreK 4 Teacher Assistant,
spent five years at Concordia as the administrative assistant. Prior to
that, she was the administrative assistant at the Lutheran Academy
for seven years. Mrs. Dickman has extensive experience working with
children as a Sunday School and VBS teacher.
Mrs. April Bispeck, PreK 4 Teacher, has Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University, as well as a Certificate in Montessori Education from Princeton Montessori Academy. She has taught in Kindergarten in State College School District and at Children's House of Bucks County. Mrs. Bispeck also spent one year teaching in East Penn School District.
Mrs. Bernadette Van Pelt, PreK 4 Teacher Assistant, Mrs. Van Pelt has also substituted as an assistant for Toddlers, Threes, PreK 4s, and PreK 5s classes. Mrs. Van Pelt served on our Preschool board for one year.
Mrs. Adria Wetherhold, Three-Year-Old Teacher, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Arts and a Master of Education degree in Art Education. She has previous experience with curriculum design and writing educational materials for an online career school. Prior to teaching the three-year-old classes at Concordia, Mrs. Wetherhold was a Teacher Assistant in one of the PreK 4 classrooms.
Mrs. Karen Smudde, Three-Year-Old Teacher Assistant, began her career at Concordia in 2005. Over the years, she has assisted in the Threes, Fours, and Toddler classrooms. Mrs. Smudde has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Ms. Saadia Ackerson, Toddler Teacher, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children in a variety of roles for over twenty years. Ms. Ackerson began working at Concordia in 2015 as a substitute teacher while her youngest son attended Concordia Preschool.
Mrs. Kristi Kitchen, Toddler and Three-Year-Old Teacher Assistant, has been a part of the Concordia Preschool family since 2006.
First as a preschool mom, then as a member of the preschool board. In 2016, she joined the preschool staff as a toddler and 3’s teacher assistant. She attended Kutztown University and loves working with kids.
Rev. Waldemar Vinovskis, Pastor, received his Bachelor degree studying Human Development and Psychology. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree in Theology and Pastoral Care. Before coming to Pennsylvania, he served churches in both northern and southern California. Pastor Vinovskis has been Pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church since February 2001. Rev. Ryan Schnake, Associate Pastor, graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2012 with a BS in Justice and Public Policy. Prior to his time in the seminary, he worked as a public school teacher and served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. In May of 2021, Ryan graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis with a Masters of Divinity, and was called to Concordia Lutheran Church shortly thereafter. He was installed and began his time as Associate Pastor in July 2021.
